The 3^rd International Conference on Gender and Sexuality 2020 was held on the 15th – 16th October on a virtual platform under the theme “Is a Human Rights Framework Enough to Promote Transformative Gender and Sexuality?”. The conference was organized by The International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM), Sri Lanka in collaboration with the Asian-African Association for Women, Gender and Sexuality, University of Johannesburg, South Africa, Department of Sociology and Social Work, University of Nairobi, Kenya, and University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa as the partners for this year’s conference.

The conference provided an opportunity for delegates to share their valuable knowledge and experience of women studies from various perspectives. Moreover, the conference welcomed 35+ participants from 15 countries around the world.
