The Success Story of the 6th International Conference on Gender and Sexuality 2023
The 6th International Conference on Gender and Sexuality 2023 was successfully held on October 19th–20th, 2023, in Colombo, Sri Lanka, under the theme: “Gender and Sexuality in the 21st Century: Why Does It Matter.”
This global event provided an enriching platform for scholars, researchers, practitioners, and advocates to deepen their understanding of gender and sexuality from theoretical, policy, and personal perspectives. The conference brought together diverse research and case studies from around the world, fostering collaborative partnerships and offering numerous networking and publishing opportunities.
The purpose of Gender and Sexuality 2023 was to create a diverse and inclusive setting where individuals could learn from one another, share cutting-edge research, and contribute unique perspectives to the ongoing dialogue surrounding critical issues in the field. Through keynote speeches, parallel sessions, and interactive discussions, participants explored intersecting dimensions of gender and sexuality, aiming to build a more equitable world.

The Publication Workshop on “Crafting Your Path to Academic Recognition: Mastering the Art of Writing for Academic Publication” was a comprehensive program designed to help researchers and academics enhance their academic writing skills. The workshop covered key topics such as selecting appropriate journals, structuring a manuscript, responding to reviewer feedback, and understanding the publication process. Participants gained a better understanding of how to communicate their research effectively and efficiently, as well as how to increase their visibility and recognition within their field. By the end of the workshop, attendees were equipped with the tools necessary to navigate the complex world of academic publishing.

Workshop on Sexuality Part III
The Workshop on Sexuality Part III was a session that aimed to provide a safe and inclusive space for individuals to explore and understand various aspects of human sexuality.
