The Success Story of the 7th International Conference on Gender and Sexuality 2024
The 7th International Conference on Gender and Sexuality 2024 was successfully held on September 19th–20th in Bangkok, Thailand under the theme: “From Policy to Practice: Seizing Opportunities to Advance Gender Equality, Sexual and Gender Diversity.”
The Gender and Sexuality Conference 2024 brought together 55+ participants from over 15 countries, creating a vibrant platform for dialogue and collaboration. The purpose of the conference was to bridge the gap between policy and practice, empowering stakeholders to advance gender equality and promote sexual and gender diversity globally. Discussions focused on critical issues such as gender-based violence, feminist theory, queer studies, and inclusive policy development—driving actionable strategies for social justice.
This event served as a focal forum for sharing research findings, knowledge, and innovative ideas, complemented by interactive sessions including panel discussions, keynote speeches, and workshops led by prominent scholars and advocates. Participants had the opportunity to network, exchange perspectives, and build partnerships that will influence future research and policy.
Throughout the conference, we worked collaboratively toward creating a more equitable world—one step at a time.
